Inner Sea Region

Something I've been working on - The Sea of Fallen Stars and all nearby waterways. Its actually the basis for a new series of maps by me, with much higher resolution and detail. The first one will be of Cormyr (and most of The Dalelands), and the second will be the rest of The Dales, The Vast, and Impiltur. Each map will be 8½ x 11 for easy printing, and connect perfectly to all adjoining maps (a problem I had before as I did each map, which is why this shows so much more than what I am actually planning to do at first). The basic layout of the map will be the 1e/2e (and now I think 5e) Forgotten Realms, and more specifically, the maps from the Fonstad Atlas, which Ed Greenwood has stated are "the closest to my originals". Over that I pasted HUNDREDS of maps, from all different eras/editions. Thus, even though its 1e/2e, I had to backwards-engineer quite a bit, like all those rivers in Aglarond. You'll even note a few small lakes taken from 4e maps; these new maps should be useful to whatever edition you are running. My plan is to post the entire series at the DM's Guild, and hopefully spark a renewed interest in The Realms.
